Friendswood is a friendly town with strong community pride and family
values. The name "Friendswood" comes from the Quaker or "Friends" founders
of the late 1800's. Nowhere else is the spirit of volunteerism and
patriotism more prevalent than in this community. Residents of Friendswood
tend to be more family-oriented and highly educated. Friendswood
neighborhoods are well-maintained and picturesque, no matter what the
price range, indicating pride of ownership. Part of Friendswood is located
in the Clear Creek ISD, the other part being located in
Friendswood ISD. Both school districts have outstanding
reputations. Although Friendswood is not a waterfront community, it's only
a short 15-20 minute drive to water recreational heaven! Friendswood home
prices range from the very affordable ($100K and up) to the extravagant.
If you love horses, there are quite a few properties in this area that
