Specializing in the HOUSTON/GALVESTON BAY Area
Area overview:
Houston is a thriving, sophisticated
metropolitan area with a southern flair! Here in the Bay Area, the
lifestyle is casual, elegant, and relaxed. All of the Bay Area communities
and neighborhoods have a unique personality to them-something to suit just
about any prospective homeowner. The area continues to grow because of its
fabulous lifestyle and location—it’s simply a great place to live and lots
of people know it! If you already live here, you know what I'm talking
about.
Many residents who live in the Bay Area actually work in Houston, although
the Bay Area supports a tremendous employment base through the
Petrochemical industry, NASA/JSC, tourism, recreation, and the Port of
Houston. Real estate tax
rates range from relatively low to high; it just depends upon where you
live. By and large, the public schools of the Bay Area are well above
average, and there are several private schools nearby. College level
educational institutions include San Jacinto Junior College, College of
the Mainland, Alvin Community College, Lee College (Jr. College), and the
University of Houston at Clear Lake (Junior and Senior level only). Of
course, there are a multitude of additional educational opportunities in
Houston. If it's fun you're after, you've come to the right place! Whether
you love golfing, boating, kayaking/canoeing, fishing, theatre, art,
music, food, shopping, community festivals and celebrations, etc...it's
here for your enjoyment (as long as it doesn't involve snow!). Check out
my “Things To Do” page for ideas.
Keep in mind that the city limits, school district borders, county lines
and tax rate structures don’t necessarily follow simple, straightforward
rules. In order for you to make an informed real estate choice, the value
of a knowledgeable, experienced Realtor cannot be overstated. I am a
lifelong resident of the Bay Area and this is my area of expertise—you can
trust me to be your advocate!
